Privacy Policy

Odiseo is a software development studio based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, building custom commerce and business software since 2014. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use odiseo.io.
The short version
This is a marketing site, not a product. Beyond the analytics and advertising described below, the only personal data we receive is what you deliberately send us — a message through the contact form, or a meeting you book with us. Analytics and advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time from the cookie icon in the bottom corner of any page.
What we collect, and why
Contact form
When you submit the form on our contact page we receive your name, email address and message. That data is delivered to us as an email at team@odiseo.com.ar. It is not written to a database, a CRM or a mailing list. We use it for one thing: to reply to you.
Legal basis: your consent, and the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Booking a call
Our booking links go to Calendly. If you schedule a call, the name, email address and any answers you provide are collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the meeting. Calendly processes that data under its own privacy policy.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested and a timestamp. We use them to keep the site online and secure, and to diagnose faults. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how visitors find and use this site, and the Google Ads conversion and remarketing tag to measure and retarget our own campaigns. PostHog also records sessions (page interactions, not what you type into the contact form) so we can see where the site is confusing. These are on from your first visit; you can turn Analytics and Advertising off independently at any time using the cookie icon shown in the corner of every page, which reopens the same preferences you saw on your first visit.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, balanced against your ability to opt out at any time through that control.
Third parties
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Ads — audience measurement and, for our own campaigns, conversion tracking and remarketing. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- PostHog — analytics and session recording. Data is processed on PostHog's EU servers. Governed by the PostHog Privacy Policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects the contact form from automated abuse. When the form loads, Google may set cookies and collect device and usage signals under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Calendly — scheduling, as described above.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers listed here.

Manage these at any time from the cookie icon in the corner of any page. Turning a category off stops that provider from collecting further data on this site; it does not withdraw data already sent before you changed your preference.
How long we keep it
Messages you send us stay in our mailbox for as long as the conversation — or the working relationship that grew out of it — is relevant, and are deleted on request. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then rotated out. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider's own retention settings, described in their respective privacy policies linked above.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or stop using your data at any time. Write to team@odiseo.com.ar and we will act on it.
Under Argentine Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326 you may also complain to the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your GDPR rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — apply, along with the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
International transfers
Google is a certified participant in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), which covers Google Analytics, Google Ads and reCAPTCHA. PostHog processes analytics data on servers located in the EU. Calendly relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses, and has designated representatives in the EEA and UK.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
